Bangkok and Tioman

Just got back from two Bangkok trips with two separate girl friends, one of them is from NUS, the other is from SIM. They were really good company and we really bought so many things that we had so much trouble squeezing all the shopping into one suit case each. Sigh. Each girl was really different. I went to all the night markets, Pratinum Mall and the weekend flea market with my NUS classmate and really had so many cheap buys. My SIM girl pal and I went to Zen Mall where we spent a whole afternoon shopping and eating there. We headed to Pak Pong at night for the night spot--hot Thai girls and boys. It was really fun to be in Bangkok where you won't mind going there again, and again. We went on a yacht trip to Tioman and stayed at the Berjaya Tioman Resort. It was really so fun with 20 of us there. BUT I got sun burnt. =( I brought my toy turtle TY during all the trips and he was really good company.

Staying At Home

Staying at home gets boring some times and I was preparing to go out with some friends on a Thursday night. Hence, before the outing, took some pictures at home with my new Sony pink camera.

Just Started Blogging

It is really ubiquitous to see so many blogs locally and globally with easy access to the Internet in contemporary society. My course in school--New Media and Society, which I am doing a shared major in NUS teaches us all about this past and current phenomenon. What makes a particular blog stand out from the rest is the content in it (duh?!) and of course, pictures. It is really addictive to read blogs, especially when the pictures are so attractive that you just cannot stop looking at it, past and present entries, until the stage--climax when the reader becomes such an avid fan that he wants to meet the blogger in person, in extreme cases, stalking occurs. Blogs expose bloggers to public scrutiny. I often wonder if that is really what I want. Everyone needs some privacy. We need space. However, my blog marks the commencement of a new me. This is the beginning of a new chapter in my life when I am just about to change my lifestyle and some habits.
